Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) Beginner’s Guide(Done)

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)   Background   The government of Canada requires certain foreign nationals who are from visa-exempt countries to provide an electronic travel authorization(eTa) upon entry to Canada by air.   After you complete your eTA forms, an automated screening system will process the application for approval. If an answer on the form is unsatisfactory, flags may be raised and the application could be escalated to a human operator and he/she will make a judgment call and it may take longer than most cases.   What The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a mandatory requirement for entering Canada from a visa-exempt country(see the list below). The eTA is linked with the traveller’s passport electronically and is valid for up to 5 years or when your passport expires, whichever comes first. If you obtain a new passport, you will also need to apply for a new eTA.   See below for a list of visa-exempt and required countries.   An eTA will allow you to travel to Canada for up to 6 months during every visit. For travel within Canada, an eTA is not necessary.   Along with your eTA, you will need to provide other documents such as your passport and accompanying documents and convince the officer that you are eligible to travel to Canada. (not fo sure )   Why In order to enter Canada, you must have an eTA if you are from one of the visa-exempt countries and you do not have a visitor visa. You may not even be able to board your flight to Canada without an eTA.   Who Travellers requiring an eTA Foreign nationals travelling from visa-exempt countries need an eTA to transit or entry through a Canadian airport. Permanent residents of U.S.(green card holders) with non-US passport also need an eTA. Travellers who may be eligible for an eTA Visitors from select visa-required countries may be eligible to apply for an eTA instead of visitor visa to travel to Canada by air. Travellers exempt from the eTA requirement US citizens Travellers coming by car, bus, train or boat (just not air) Foreign nationals with official Canadian documents***** Diplomats accredited by the Government of Canada Members of the Armed Forces of a country designated under the Visiting Forces Act coming to Canada to fulfill official duties Flight crew, civil aviation inspectors, accident investigators who are or will be working while in.....

Canada Express Entry (EE) – Beginner’s Guide(Done)

Who should read this? You meet the criteria for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) or Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) You are working towards meeting the criteria for one of the aforementioned federal programs You want the quickest solution to making Canada your permanent home   Express Entry is a new selection process implemented in 2015 to tackle the problem of dealing with such a large amount of applicants and the amount of time it takes to filter eligible candidates. The new process allows the system to quickly select an applicant from a pool of candidates based on whichever candidates have the most points. Within 6 months or less an applicant can get a PR approval decision. To be eligible to apply for Express Entry, you will need to meet the eligibility for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) or Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is the most popular pathways for international students to apply for PR. After meeting the CEC requirements, you will need to find out your EE Comprehensive Ranking System score. Some areas of eligibility that most applicants get confused about using the CRS calculator from the CIC website: *Level of education. (Post secondary education in Canada or Overseas count, however you may need an Education Credential Assessment to find the Canadian equivalent if you acquired your education overseas *Overseas Work experience has to be 0, A or B and has to be consecutive term and the same position. *Valid job offer meaning you have went through the LMIA assessment and obtained a positive result from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). This is not a preferable route as the government is trying to prevent businesses from abusing the program, the assessment is very strict and lengthy, the employers have to provide 1. The proof that the business could not find Canadian workers to fulfil the job & 2. The employer also has to create a plan to hire more Canada workers and to address the current issue. 3. Most of the cases, ESDC officers will also assess the unemployment rate in the area your business is located. Express Entry Step 1: Registering Come to Canada Tool and Express Entry Profile Use the Come to Canada Tool and input some brief information about yourself to check your eligibility. At the end of the form, if you are eligible.....

Student review (Mexico & Korea Taiwan)

Admission Hub Student Review – France 【Country】: France 【Canada 】: Toronto 【School】:  Language Gallery 【Future Plan】: My name is Ansell and I am from France. I have been in Canada for 6 months. A few months ago my working holiday visa was about to expire and I was trying to find a way to stay in Canada. I was pretty flustered at that time because I didn’t know what to do. I really needed someone to offer me suggestions as what the best way was to doing that. A friend of mine referred me to Admission Hub because she had a similar problem and they offered her helpful advice that allowed her to extend her stay. So I decided to give it a try. Their office is in Downtown Toronto, not too far away from Bathurst Station. When I went to their office, their Admission Adviser, Dylan, took the time to understand my situation and presented different options to me and explained different pros and cons of attending each program. At the end I chose IBT college because they allow me get a work permit, so now I can stay in Canada another year to work and study English. IBT is a career college that specializes in different work and study options in Toronto. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet many classmates from all over the world such as Japan, Korea, Brazil and Taiwan. The teachers there are very attentive and are always there when I need any help. Finally I want to say thank you to Dylan for helping me gain admission to the school and the VISA specialist’s hard work in getting my application approved!   Ansell   2018, March 5th         Admission Hub Student  Review – Taiwan 【Country】: Taiwan 【Canada 】: Toronto [School]: GEOS [Future Plan]: Public Seneca College, Toronto I first studied ESL at a Canadian college in a remote town when I arrived in Canada. The ESL program in the school was not as I expected. My progress was very slow, the class wasn’t very engaging and I was considering on switching schools and moving to a more populated city. I wanted to go to a school in Toronto, but there are so many schools in Toronto that I had no idea where to get started. On top of that, the cost of living in Toronto is very high so I needed something that.....

7 Reasons Why Canadian Immigrants Are Rejected

7 Reasons Why Canadian Immigrants Are Rejected Canada receive about 250,000 new immigrants each year, but there are also thousands of applicants who have been rejected for various reasons. (From the Department of Immigration website) Hundreds of thousands of people apply for Canadian immigration each year, but at the same time, tens of thousands of applicants have been rejected. According to statistics, there are seven main reasons for rejection, such as misrepresentation or health factors, but sometimes they are only misleading, undocumented, or sent to the wrong category. Some of the avoidable negligences cannot be ignored by the applicant. Canada is one of the major immigrant countries in the world. It attracts hundreds of thousands of people each year through various types of immigration. However, at the same time, many people have been rejected and have lost their dreams. Immigration lawyer David Cohen stated that there are many reasons for the rejection of immigration applications, but there are mainly the following seven: I. The Statement Is Not True Although at first glance it may seem that the applicant has deliberately concealed or falsified certain information, it may sometimes be that the applicant misrepresented the question on the form, omitted the data item in the form, or misunderstood the indication when completing the form. As a result, these are preventable errors. If it is found to be “false,” not only is the application rejected, it may be sentenced not to apply again within two years (Quebec immigrants are five years old). Second, health factors All immigration applicants and accompanying relatives are required to pass medical examinations to confirm that their health will not be a burden on the Canadian health care system. The above medical examinations must be performed by a physician appointed by the Ministry of Immigration. Once a member of the family has a medical examination, the family’s application is not required. The case may be rejected. For example, patients with diabetes or Hepatitis A who need medical treatment may be rejected by immigration officials as a burden on the health care system. To avoid such a result, sometimes a specialist doctor’s report on the condition of the applicant will help avoid re-doing medical examinations, delays or refusals. III. Criminal Records All applicants must submit proof of a criminal record that has been inhabited for more than six months after the age of 18 in order to ensure that new arrivals will not be.....

The 36 Things That Authentic Canadians Do!

 1. Often forget to lock the door (for four reasons: good security; no money at home; no hidden money under the bed; property insurance). 2. Cash in the wallet does not exceed 50 Canadian dollars (one is poor; the second is the development of electronic finance, as small as a grocery store, as far as the village can swipe; third is the use of credit cards to pay after the first consumer). 3. Buy lottery weekly dream award (because in addition to buy lottery tickets have the opportunity to make a fortune, what can not make a fortune, and no gray income, even when the civil service), the more the elderly love to buy lottery tickets (buy a dream, figure a music). 4. At least two accountants are to be seen each year. The first is to pay taxes and the second is to consult how to pay less. 5. Drink coffee every day, favorite Tim Hortons (local Canadian brand coffee). 6. If you meet 4 Canadians, there must be 1 single, 1 divorced child, 1 cohabiting partner (the opposite sex, but also the same sex), 1 marriage with 2 children, but they each have at least one dog or cat. 7, Go out without umbrellas, paper towels; summer inflammation is not an umbrella shade. 8. Always stand on the right side of the escalator (left to the impatient rusher). 9. Living in a high-rise building will cause insomnia (Canada is a large rural area, where are short and short, and are not used to it). 10. Line up, never cut the line. 11. Drive compliance, even when late at night when no one has to wait for traffic lights. When you get on the bus, you can find a seat belt system, whether it is driving or riding. 12. Classified garbage (recyclable, non-recyclable, batteries, waste electrical appliances, etc.), whether in public or at home. 13. When entering or exiting the gates of shopping malls or office buildings, we went back and checked if anyone came. Someone would wait and wait. 14. Go to work in the office, in the classroom like to eat snacks. 15. Don’t buy 80-cad clothes which has 50% discount, but 800-Cad Iphone. 16. Particularly stingy, even if the old cutlery also reluctant to throw, clean up and sell or give away, a day of hard work is not enough to buy a pizza. 17. Send gifts.....
