My name is Ansell and I am from France. I have been in Canada for 6 months. A few months ago my working holiday visa was about to expire and I was trying to find a way to stay in Canada. I was pretty flustered at that time because I didn’t know what to do. I really needed someone to offer me suggestions as what the best way was to doing that. A friend of mine referred me to Admission Hub because she had a similar problem and they offered her helpful advice that allowed her to extend her stay. So I decided to give it a try. Their office is in Downtown Toronto, not too far away from Bathurst Station. When I went to their office, their Admission Adviser, Dylan, took the time to understand my situation and presented different options to me and explained different pros and cons of attending each program.

At the end I chose IBT college because they allow me get a work permit, so now I can stay in Canada another year to work and study English. IBT is a career college that specializes in different work and study options in Toronto. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet many classmates from all over the world such as Japan, Korea, Brazil and Taiwan. The teachers there are very attentive and are always there when I need any help.

Finally I want to say thank you to Dylan for helping me gain admission to the school and the VISA specialist’s hard work in getting my application approved!

I first studied ESL at a Canadian college in a remote town when I arrived in Canada. The ESL program in the school was not as I expected. My progress was very slow, the class wasn’t very engaging and I was considering on switching schools and moving to a more populated city. I wanted to go to a school in Toronto, but there are so many schools in Toronto that I had no idea where to get started. On top of that, the cost of living in Toronto is very high so I needed something that fit my goals and didn’t break the bank.

While doing research on the internet I found Admission Hub’s website. Admission Hub’s team is composed of experienced specialists who have had years of experience consulting foreign students like myself. There were a lot of education agencies in Toronto, but Admission Hub appeared the most professional and secure. They offered free consultations so I decided to book an appointment with them. I met Adrian, my Admission Hub Adviser and we discussed my goals and expectations. Very quickly, Adrian offered me what he believed to be the best options for me. I thought long and hard because of what a big life decision it was. I finally decided to study at GEOS Language School and I never looked back since. The teacher of my class was very serious and rigorous, which is what I needed if I were to survive in college. He can be tough sometimes, but I know he just wants the best for me.

My goal is to be able to enter college in Canada and graduate with a diploma. With my current school I feel like I am making great progress and it’s only a matter of time before I accomplish my goal. I recommend Admission Hub’s service to all of my friends because I feel that the Admission Hub’s agents are very professional and proper, giving us foreign students a feeling of peace of mind.

I decided to study at ILAC in Toronto. From the first day, it was like love at first sight. I easily made a lot friends with my classmates. The teacher, Mr. Smith, was very interesting and respected the students’ ideas.
Both the shy classmates and confident classmates felt comfortable contributing to the class discussions because of how welcoming the environment was. The students took turns to answer questions and were respectful to one another. Not every teacher or classmate are willing to do this so this class left a lasting memory in my mind. The classmates got along very well and eventually became lasting companions during my stay in Canada. Now we often go out and play together in our spare time.

A lot of my friends at school aren’t with the same advisers that helped them come to Canada, whereas I can’t imagine what I’d do without Seiwa. Admission Hub helped me from the beginning of my journey with opening a bank account and setting up a Canadian mobile number. It wasn’t required of Seiwa, but he wanted to help me out of his own good will. Throughout my stay in Toronto, I always asked Seiwa’s opinion on things that I wasn’t sure of and he’d always be readily available. The service was excellent and he always goes an extra mile.
I highly recommend Admission Hub’s staff. They are very enthusiastic and actively care about me, it’s almost like they’re my guardian angel in Canada.

I am thankful that I was able to find them. When I first arrived in Canada, I was not uncomfortable. I was prepared adequately (except jet lag). The Toronto metro system was simpler than the Taipei MRT, but everything was in English. All in all, I think this was a fantastic opportunity to expand my horizons. I learned a lot about respecting others and myself, being open to new ideas and attitudes and now I am on a momentous trajectory to improving myself.
